Brasil goes through an unprecendeted crisis in the fundamental terrains : economic, political, moral, institutional, military and social, just to name these. It converges, as rarely seen before, in the countrys history : a deep recession of an ailing bureucratic capitalism whose recovery is impossible in the immediate future, within which imperialism and the local ruling classes impose an unprecedented rise in the exploitaton of the masses and restriction of their fundamental rights; the collapse of the government system to exercise its domination and, finally, the antagonism between this system – and increasingly between the power system – and the interests and consciousness of the people’s masses. This is the revolutionary, objective situation that brings with it big storms and sufferings, and the best conditions for its complete overcoming.
With it, the pandemic worsens the whole situation, sending more than 300 thousand persons to death, buried in mass graves, without mentioning those who die from Corona virus without even being diagnosed all over the country.
The economic crisis throws a huge human contingent into a regression in time, in the most absolute barbarism. It is the case of 67 million real unemployed (unemployment, underutilization and discouraged), among which 27 million Brazilians ( 12,8% of the population in underestimated numbers) who live on less than R$246,00 per month or R$8,20 per day, according to Pnads Continua Covid-19, figuring the macabre picture of the extreme misery as it has not been seen for a long time.
The military government, while regretting having to resume the emergency aid for mitigating the unprecedented suffering of million of Brazilian families launched into the daily terror, with the miserable value of R$250,00 for three months. The military government bows as the most despicable lackey in front of the financial market ( international bankers), for which they will destinate R$2 trillion and 236 billion – more than 53,9% of the budget to be approved by the Congress – to pay interests and repayments of the illegitimate “public debth” that plunders and make unhappy the people. But on this subject, the “patriotic” generals and their failed captain, so bullies to cow the ministers and growl, threats to culminate the coup d’État, are docile and lovable like dogs in search of an onerous reward.
While the monopolies and large enterprises do as they please during pandemic time, despite the infection of he worlkrs and with the connivance and good will of the military government ( such as department stores and civil construction as essential services) the snall and medium-sized owners are flogged. They are the ones who pay more taxes and employ more, and are abandonned facing an unprecedented failure that, in 2001, tends to reach 53% more than in 2020, according to the consultancy Alvarez & Marsal.
In the countryside, the landownership advances the process of encircling the peasants’ lands and expropriating them, and , on the other hand, the combative peasant movement responds in the same measure.
Objective situation and subjective conditions
The whole subjective situation pushes overwhelmingly the masses to a historical revolutionary action. However, what is missing in our country is the firm acting of the revolutionary proletariat, whose party, a superior form of organization, the Communist Party, in our country, was defeated by revisionism in the end of 1970, headed by João Amazonas, followed by the almost complete defeat of the revolutionary movement in the country, imposing heavy burden to the proletariat and people’s masses.
Deprived of its vanguard and revolutionary organizations, the people’s masses are an easy target of all sort of attacks, swindles and systematic “brainwashing” of the media and press monopolies, submerging, great part of them, in a state of insane torpor. Only mobilized, politicized and organized they can easily distinguish their friends and enemies; the political projects that correspond with the most legitimate, immediate and historical interests of those which are antagonistic to them.
The relative torpor which now presents itself in the state of mind of the masses, combined with a complete hatred to all symtoms that the old order of exploitation and oppression daily create for the people, is the protagonist of the immediately preceding act to the inevitable unstoppable rebellion, like it or not whoever it is. Spontaneously it can, aiming at the symtoms, mitigate them partial and only temporarily, not more than that. It is here that is the obligation of the revolutionary proletariat whose triggering is the only element of the political situation able to, merging with the masses, target its blows in the roots of the problems and, step by step, eliminate them together with the symtoms. The lack of the revolutionary party also facilitates that the reactionary elements may polarize themselves to regiment the masses in their struggles and takem them away from their interests due to their disappointment. This is the most fruitful nest of fascism.
March 25th, 2021 fixes the anniversary of the Communist Party of Brasil., according to the publications of the Nucleus for Studies of Marxism-leninism-maoism, transiting to the Second Phase of the Third Stage of its history: the struggle for the reconstitution as an authentic Marxist-leninist-maoist party, amidst the fight against revisionism, in an inseparable way of the combat to imperialism, the big-bourgeoisie, the landlords and the whole reaction. If we have already spoken about the relatively favorable situation to the masses’ struggles and unfavourable to the reaction in the immediate, it should be noted: only with the true revolutionary party of the proletariat, in summary, the main strategical weakness of the reaction’s hill can be changed. This resolved, as stated by the great Timoneer, “ all sort of miracles will be possible”.
